NYC Based plant-forward Chef & baker
Originally from Maryland, I moved to New York City to be closer to one of the most influential cooking scenes in the country. I started Bitchin Cakes NYC in October of 2020, and graduated from Pace University with a business degree in advertising/marketing in December 2020. I’ve expanded my passion for plant-based cuisine and baking into a career by doing custom vegan cakes and working as a plant based chef full time.
I took a break from Bitchin Cakes to study and work abroad for a year and a half, and have now received a diploma in plant based culinary arts from Le Cordon Bleu. Since graduating, I’ve worked as a traveling chef and lived in London, Paris, and Cape Town. Upon moving back to NYC, I continued working as a plant-based cook for Jean-Georges vegetarian restaurant, AbcV, and operating Bitchin Cakes on a limited basis.
During the summer of 2023, I was able to move to the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia and work as a private chef for Fige Yoga retreats on Paklenski Islands, as well as a pop-up chef on Uglijan Island.
As I return to NYC in the fall, I will be continuing Bitchin Cakes as well as my private chef career.
